Learn more about SAMA Nail Polish...

How To Use

We always suggest starting with a base coat to prevent any nail discolouration.

Apply 2 layers of nail polish, which is typically the sweet spot, but if you like a bolder finish keep layering until you achieve your desired look.

Finish with a top coat for longer wear.

What is 10 Free Nail Polish?

10 Free means the nail polish doesn't contain the 10 most commonly found chemicals in nail polish like formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor, formaldehyde resin, xylene, parabens, fragrances, phthalate and animal ingredients.

While no nail polish is completely chemical free, the SAMA range is Plant Based, Vegan, Cruelty Free and Halal.

How can a Nail Polish be Halal?

In order for nail polish to be halal, it needs to be cruelty free and water permeable. For people to practice Wudu, water needs to penetrate every aspect of their body to be clean. Traditional nail polish isn’t breathable or water permeable, so people practicing Halal can’t wear it.

    About SAMA Nail Polish

SAMA Nail Polish is a gender-neutral nail polish company that stands for inclusivity and respect.

SAMA comes from the Japanese honorific used to refer to someone that you highly admire, and we think everyone deserves to be respected.

Why should nail polish be gender stereotyped anyways? Life is too hard already, let's all just paint our nails and be stoked!

  • SAMA Nail Polish Australia - Founder Destiny

    Meet The Founder

SAMA was founded by Destiny, an American-turned-Australian with a passion for authenticity.

After becoming hyper-fixated on ingredient labelling for beauty and skincare products, she quickly learned the downfalls of normal nail polish.

She felt only obligated to create a product that would both spread awareness and provide a solution to readily available nail polish without all the nasties.
