How To Use

Before showering, brush dry mitt over your entire body using firm, circular motions, gradually moving towards your heart. Be sure to concentrate on dry/rough areas like elbows and knees.

For gentler exfoliation, dampen the mitt and use on wet skin in the shower. Nourish and hydrate skin post-shower with your favourite LAMAV Ayurvedic Body Oil. Rinse mitt well after each use and hang in shower to dry. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

Planning to tan?

Use the LAMAV Exfoliating Mitt 24-48 hours before applying self-tan to remove old tan, and all dry flaky skin leaving your skin smooth, silk and ready for tan application.

For an added wellbeing boost—brush the skin using firm, upwards strokes towards the heart to increase circulation, stimulate your lymphatic system.

Rinse mitt well after each use and hang in shower to dry.

Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

What does Certified Organic Mean?

All LAMAV products are Certified Organic and have the Certified Organic seal by the OFC. For a product to be Certified Organic, it must contain a minimum of 70% Certified Organic ingredients—which are grown, processed and controlled according to strict standards. The Certified Organic seal of approval also provides you with the peace of mind that products are free range, cruelty-free, free from GMO’s, synthetic chemicals, petrochemicals, pesticides, herbicides, hormones, antibiotics, artificial colours and fragrances.

What is the difference between Certified Organic and Natural Products?

The main difference between Certified Organic and natural products is that Certified Organic means that most of the ingredients have to be Certified Organic—which means they are cultivated without the use of synthetic fertilisers, pesticides or other synthetic chemicals. Natural products however, require the ingredients to be natural—or not synthetic—but they don’t have to be grown or cultivated in the same way. While they may come from a natural source, they may not necessarily be organic.

Do LAMAV products contain any artificial fragrances?

No, we do not include any artificial fragrances or perfumes in our products. We incorporate only Certified Organic essential oils that contain medicinal and therapeutic benefits including anti-ageing, stimulating local circulation, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and anti-fungal.

Dr Tarj Mavi is a veterinarian, a pathologist, research scientist and clean beauty pioneer - developing the first Certified Organic Skincare range in Australia to infuse bio-actives.

Like many women, Tarj experienced first-hand how hormonal imbalances can affect the skin and contribute to skin sensitivity and pigmentation. Confronted by its impact, Tarj was committed to finding a safe and effective solution to her skin issues.

Drawing on her experience as a scientist and researcher, as well as her deep respect for the natural world, Tarj began to combine her in depth knowledge of safety and efficacy of natural bio-actives to create formulas that were completely pure. After testing hundreds of bio-actives and trialling countless combinations, Tarj finally launched the skincare range of 12 products in 2008, as she was inspired to share this knowledge with other women.
